We took these bridals in Joshua Tree in December. In my opinion, this was the PERFECT time to go to Joshua Tree. We were able to take these at sunset without sweating. We even hiked along the rocks before we took these and didn’t break a sweat. It was a beautiful 70-degree day with a breeze. We turned on some bangers while taking these to get bring out the natural smiles. I loved laughing with these two in the golden light. Scroll below to see some faves from the shoot!

If you want to know the TRUTH behind this shoot, I will tell you. I was hired to take elopement photos of a couple in Joshua Tree and when I hopped on my flight, I got a text from my bride saying her fiance had Covid and they had to cancel their elopement. I was on my flight and thought of a Plan B. I called my brother and sister-in-law and asked if they could come up from San Diego and model bridal photos for me. I had a few photoshoots in Joshua Tree that weekend but no other bridal photoshoots. I found an outfit for my bother at Ross and made a bouquet from fake flowers I found at the thrift store. It was put together super last minute but we MADE IT HAPPEN. I’m super happy with the results!
