Whether you are preparing for family photos, maternities, senior, or couple photos, check out these tips to prep for your session!
I highly recommend wearing neutral colors. Blacks, whites, browns, and grey’s look great on camera.
Wear something you can move in.
Wear what you know you look best in and what makes you feel good.
I recommend choosing two colors for family photos. Each person can incorporate those colors in their outfit. Coordination > matching.
Ladies, if you plan to wear two outfits, I recommend wearing pants for a casual outfit and a dress for a fancier one. Different poses/prompts involve different outfits.
Jackets and hats are great accessories. Feel free to bring them to add layers.
If possible, choose solid colored clothing. Avoid small patterns. These can be difficult for the camera to pick up.
Iron your clothes. The camera really does pick up the small wrinkles in your shirts/dresses.
Think about bringing props! This can make your session more memorable and fun!
Solid-colored button-ups are recommended for the gentlemen.
