A Black + White San Francisco Wedding

Zach and Sophie’s wedding was the definition of a CLASSY wedding. All the guests and bridal party wore black and Sophie was the only one to wear white. Although their wedding was in February, it was a beautiful sunny weekend in San Francisco. Sophie’s mom and Zach’s mom helped her get ready and it was very special and emotional. Then they had their first look which was tear-filled. Zach kept saying how gorgeous she was and how excited he was to marry her. They then read their vows to each other privately. Their bridal party arrived and we had so much fun taking their photos. After we took a majority of the photos, we walked over to the church where the ceremony took place. They had lots of family members come up and speak and be a part of the ceremony. After the ceremony, we took their couple portraits underneath the eucalyptus trees behind the church. We then headed over to the reception where there were heartfelt toasts, cake cutting, first dances, and a LIT dance floor. I have never seen a more packed dance floor. To end the night, they exited with their friends and family waving ribbon wands. And since Sophie’s family is from Lousiana, they did a “second line march.” They walked back to their hotel with a group of guests, playing music and throwing beads! It was such a unique and personal way to end the night!
